I build the back end: the APIs, data models and business logic a product quietly depends on. I like owning that work end to end, from the first spec through design, code and testing to the fixes after launch.

I learned the job at Mayo College in Ajmer, writing ERP and point-of-sale software on the Microsoft stack that talked to barcode scanners, RFID readers and fingerprint devices. My users were librarians, cafe staff and school administrators, so I worked with them directly: shaping the screens, writing the guides and running the training. I still start every project by asking who will use it.

Since 2020 I've worked in PHP, building Symfony applications and REST APIs at Glocal View and then R Systems, where I grew from Project Leader to Lead Engineer, led the team and worked with clients on Drupal projects. Today I work remotely with OTTera, Inc., a streaming company in Los Angeles, on PHP and Drupal.

I care about software that keeps running long after it ships: readable code, clear documentation, and fixes that solve the cause, not just the symptom.

A banking and accounting system for an employee co-operative society. It replaced paper ledgers with one web app for member savings, shares, loans, double-entry accounting and audit-ready year-end statements.

My role: full-stack development: data model and accounting design, business rules, UI, reports, testing and security hardening.

  • Accounting core: double-entry vouchers, corrections by reversal (nothing is ever deleted), once-only payroll posting, and locked financial years that carry balances forward.
  • Loans: a two-guarantor consent workflow with time-stamped responses, payout locked against duplicates, and reducing-balance principal/interest split.
  • Statutory reports in the society's printed format, as PDF or Excel: आय व्यय खाता, हानि लाभ खाता, संतुलन चित्र, with reconciliation of shares, savings, loans and bank.
  • Security: role-based access for admins, staff and members, an append-only audit log, and controls tested against race conditions and database failures.
  • Verified: year-end statements match the audited figures line for line, locked in by automated tests, after a QA and OWASP-style security review with every critical and high finding fixed.
  • Migration: queued CSV import of members, opening balances and loans, with a preview step and row-by-row error reports.
